Abstract:Black hole phase transitions on the generalized free energy landscape are inherently stochastic processes driven by thermal fluctuations. Using the Fokker–Planck equation, we study the temporal evolution of the probability distribution for RN-AdS black holes, capturing key dynamical behaviors including dynamical arrest, barrier failure, and decay from a local maximum. Our results further reveal that barrier-crossing events are accompanied by a distinct peak in the entropy production rate. To mitigate such dissipation, we adopt a geometric optimal control strategy based on the Wasserstein distance, which guides the probability flow along a minimum-dissipation geodesic path. We also discuss the physical constraints and thermodynamic speed limits that arise in these controlled processes.

吴滨,西北大学物理学院教授。于2010年和2015年分别获得南开大学理学学士及理学博士学位,2015年入职西北大学。研究方向为引力物理,主持国家自然科学基金面上、青年等项目,目前主要研究兴趣为黑洞物理以及热力学与统计物理相关方向。
